NEW four temperature settings for enhanced control, flexibility and energy saving
The AGA R7 is an update on the all-electric AGA Dual Control Cooker, adding extra settings and more accurate electronic temperature control for the ovens with some cosmetic tweaks and updates.
Just like its predecessor there are two controls; one for the ovens (which work together and are normally on all the time, like the Dual Control and traditional AGAs) and another for the hotplates which are normally off and are turned on when you need them.
Available in three oven or five oven versions (three oven is 987mm wide and five oven 1478mm wide). They can also be combined with the Integrated Module (gas or electric hob versions) and five oven models are available with the optional single-zone induction hob instead of the standard-fit warming plate on the hotcupboard for added flexibility.
The new electric R7 100 provides enhanced controllabilty and superb flexibility, whilst still offering that iconic AGA appearance. It features cast-iron ovens, which are designed to always be on, ready to use and creating that indefinable AGA warmth, to help keep your kitchen cosy.
The door linings are removable for cleaning – they can even go in the dishwasher. The ovens have Altrashell™ Coating which seals the cast-iron and makes it even easier to clean.
How the hotplates work
The R7 100 features two hotplates, which can be controlled independently. Now that the hotplates have their own elements embedded in them and don’t rely on heat from below they’ve been repositioned centrally on the cooker’s top. AGAs traditionally had their hotplates and lids offset about 1″(25mm) to the right (the positioning of the burner and oven castings below determined where the hotplates, which sat on top of them, were set).
No more flue
No flue and no pipes to outside mean it can be positioned virtually anywhere in the kitchen. We’d recommend an extractor above but it could even go in an island if you want. (There is an optional [extra cost] ‘external oven vent kit’ which can be fitted if the cooker’s position allows for a suitable route to outside for the 28mm copper pipe and fitting of the small stainless steel fan box on the external wall.)
Aga R7 Induction Hob
The AGA R7 150 offers three cast-iron ovens with four different temperature settings as well as additional slow-cooking and warming ovens, and two independently controlled hotplates for true cooking flexibility.
The R7 150 features a state of the art induction hob and two hotplates, which can be controlled independently, and three cast-iron ovens for baking, roasting and simmering. Available with a warming plate or a one-zone induction hob.
