With such a vast showroom to shout about and with so many things to experience, Spillers are always looking for new and innovative ways to reach an even greater audience. The brilliant Google See Inside Service is one such innovation, which now gives potential visitors the chance to tour our showroom before actually getting here. Of course a real visit is definitely worth it, but now you don’t have to take our word for it!
See Inside is an extension of the popular Google Maps Street View, which means you can now walk straight from the road side into various shops, retail outlets and of course the UK’s Premier Kitchen Destination. Sales Director Robin Durie enthuses about the new development. “At last, it’s now possible to take a sneak peek at all of our kitchens and appliances from the comfort of an arm chair. This is the next best thing to actually being here, although you don’t get to taste and smell some of our daily cooking.”
Working with forces photographer Heidi Burton was a joy, particularly as she managed to capture the warmth, friendliness and sheer size of the showroom without any stress.
Now would probably be a good time to take a look at the end result for yourselves. You can explore on your own starting from the main entrance, or why not jump straight to one of the many showroom highlights such as our Miele Centre, SieMatic Kitchen Experience or Aga Centre. Whatever you decide, hopefully there will be ideas and inspiration around every corner. Happy wandering and do let us know what you think!
About Heidi Burton
A professional photographer since 1997 I’ve been fortunate enough to have had fantastic opportunities photographing a wide variety of subjects across the world from aircraft to royalty, sporting events to military operations. Now based in Somerset, I’m just as happy creating portraits of children, grown-ups and animals, or architecture and landscapes, as well as producing corporate and commercial imagery, event photography and Google Maps Business Views as an accredited Trusted Photographer. I have also got extensive experience in video, both filming and editing. Basically, as long as I’ve got a camera in my hand, I’m happy!.
