Lacanche at Spillers

For over 200 years, the small French village of Lacanche in Burgundy has been producing fabulous ranges for both the commercial and domestic markets. Still made by hand, a Lacanche is built to last and will deliver truly phenomenal performance. A huge number of configurations allows you to specify a cooker perfectly suited to your requirements, which can incidentally come in any of 30 beautiful enamel finishes – including Provencal Yellow!

There are many superb Ranges to discover in the showroom at Spillers, but the elegant Lacanche displays are certainly worth spending a little extra time over. The deliberate simplicity and extreme culinary firepower make cooking enormous fun, undoubtedly helping to produce delicious results.

An amazing cooker, but don’t just take our word for it!

Lacanche Range Cookers are hugely impressive and look stunning, but opening the doors and feeling the quality is an absolute must. You can experience models like the Citeaux and Macon at our kitchen destination showroom in Somerset, whilst comparing with other competitor brands.

A Serious Cooker for a Serious Cook

Lacanche Range Cookers

Why are Lacanche Range Cookers different from so many other brands? Extraordinary heritage aside, these wonderful French cookers are different because they are still made to exacting standards by hand to order. Traditional manufacturing techniques combine with technological innovation, strength, practicality and performance. In other words, whilst a Lacanche is clearly built to look the part (take a look at the stunning colour palette), what happens on the inside is where the fun truly begins.

Lacanche Range Cookers – Models, Colours and trim

Lacanche Range Cookers are available in a multitude of shapes and sizes. The smallest model measures a compact 700mm wide and the largest stretches to over 2 metres. Of course size isn’t everything and consideration must be paid to the almost infinite variety of hob, oven, accessory, colour and trim configurations. Nobody said choosing a Lacanche was going to be easy, but it’s certainly a worthwhile and enjoyable learning process.

Lacanche is renowned for offering a wide range of beautiful enamel colours. The standard palette is made up of 20 popular shades, but in the highly unlikely event nothing takes your fancy, Lacanche will even provide a bespoke colour of your choosing. Trim options include Solid Brass, Chrome, Nickel and Brushed Stainless Steel.

Lacanche Choose your Hob

Hob Types – There are many cooking traditions, and every cook has their preference. The Lacanche selection of hob types, including Classic (open hob), Traditional (hot plate over a 5kW burner) and Induction offers the cook a range of cooking options. Whichever hob you choose you can be assured that it will offer power and control needed for any cooking technique.

Hob Options – Cookers over a metre wide are popular as they allow the space to include optional integrated hob elements. The choice of Hob elements is astounding with choices from Placha (electric griddle), Chargrill, Multi-cooker, added induction or a space can be left for a blank (stainless steel) work surface perfect for plating up and serving.

Lacanche Heritage

For more than 200 years, a foundry in the picturesque French village of Lacanche has been manufacturing Range Cookers. To this day the factory remains independent and family owned, guided by the belief that it is still worth creating products of serious substance.
