Refrigeration options

The Vario cooling series is the first modular system made from fully integrated appliances. Fridges, freezers, fridge freezer combinations and wine cabinets can be combined to form an elegant cooling wall. The interior of Vario cooling appliances are stainless steel throughou, illumination is provided by side lights and ceiling spots. They are the quietest in their class and are A+ energy efficiency class.

Wine Cabinets

Gaggenau's sophisticated technology makes for almost vibration free operation and an environment that approaches the ideal conditions of a wine cellar. Your valuable wine is stored on solid extendible trays which are made from aluminium and untreated beech thus preventing any transfer of taste or aroma. The beech rods are rounded, which apart from looking good helps protect wine labels. Gaggenau's wine cabinets have two temperature zones. One recommended for storage and one for serving.

Build quality

The shelves in Gaggenau refrigeration appliances are made from hardened safety glass while door racks in the Vario 400 series are made from solid shot-blasted aluminium. These are made with millimetre precision and fitted by hand. The use of genuine material makes them capable of withstanding heavy loads. For example the lower door rack in the Vario 400 fridge-freezer can bear a full 25 kilos.
