Hogarth Kitchen

An individual kitchen design that mixes textures and finishes to create an unusual marriage of traditional and contemporary.

The Hogarth kitchen is full of surprises mixing hand-painted finishes and carved details with contemporary horizontal graining in exotic veneers. Inspired by the sinuous curves of Queen Anne furniture, the Hogarth kitchen features a pilaster in American black walnut that echoes the shapely cabriole leg of the period.

The kitchen has a strong horizontal linear design with plinths, cornices and surfaces in American black walnut and a band of exotic striped zebrano drawer fronts punctuating the rich cream cabinets.

Appliances are hidden away behind cleverly constructed pocket doors allowing the design of the furniture to take centre stage. A striking corner unit in American black walnut opens to reveal a butler’s pantry for the 21st century, complete with full height shelving, illuminated to reveal the contents at a glance.
